Lo and behold, after posting all those
questions a mere two hours ago, I have actually (thanks to
Schuyler) found an answer. It's not exactly an answer to my questions (they were more rhetorical, anyway), but it
is a way to keep my husband home from work next Saturday.
I'm going to e-mail
this to his cutting room.
